Got a text saying something like "Lloyds: A new payee called Mrs F Marshal was added through the Lloyds mobile app on 24/03/21." Thing is, I don’t even bank with Lloyds, so I ignored it and definitely didn’t click the link they sent, figured it was a dodgy scam.

So this Lloyds thing popped up, some “Mrs F Marshal” got registered on their mobile banking app back on 24/03/21. I never did that. They told me to check it out at some website like [#]onlinereviewpayee[###], but I didn’t bother clicking the link. Felt dodgy to me.

Just got a message saying a new payee called Mrs F Marshall was added through the mobile banking app. If that's not you, it told me to check out [#]onlinereviewpayee[###] - sounds like a scam to me. Definitely not legit, what a sneaky trick.
