Normally I don't pick up calls from numbers I don't know, but this one looked like a mobile number so I figured it might be someone I know. It was a lady with an Asian accent saying she was from Amazon. I wasn't giving much away and just asked "who's this?" and then she ended the call. Occasionally my landline rings too, but I just let it go to voicemail. Scammers never bother leaving messages, so I check the number on this site when they call. If you never answer, they usually stop ringing, and any real caller will leave you a message anyway.

This number has been ringing me a couple of times in the afternoon, and each time I pick up, there's complete silence before they hang up. Then, it happened again tonight, just ten minutes apart. The first person I spoke to handed me over to a bloke called Zach, who claimed to be his supervisor. The info they gave me about credit was all over the place and didn’t add up. They said they wanted to help with combining my debts, but something felt off. When they started asking for my bank details, I just ended the call. Felt dodgy to me.
