Got a message saying HSBC: New payee request to MR C JONES through your HSBC mobile app. Problem is, I don’t even have an HSBC account or their app on my phone. The text told me if it wasn’t me, to go to some link: HSBC: [#]security-deauthpayees[###]/hsbc. Did a bit of digging online and found out it’s definitely a scam. Be careful, don’t click on links like that!
