MBNA. I’ve had these pesky characters ringing my number, trying to pull a fast one on me. They claimed to be 'long-lost mates'... or an ex-girlfriend... or some old school chums. I set them straight earlier today, mentioning we’re undergoing gender reassignment. They were looking for someone who happens to be my ex-boyfriend, and the moment the caller heard my rather deep voice, we both ended up in tears. I explained we've run into a bit of a bind financially regarding the voice box surgery, and even asked them to call me Miss instead of Sir. Utter nonsense, honestly!
