Got a text from 07795492943 saying my account had some activity from a new device and if it wasn’t me I should click a link. I know HSBC wouldn’t ever reach out like that, so it’s definitely a scam.

Got a call from HSBC wanting to confirm if a payment was made, but it was clearly a scam. Definitely a fraud attempt.

Just got a text that said something like "HSBC: Someone tried to make a payment from a NEW DEVICE on 15/04 at 15:40. If that wasnt you, go to..." with a link attached. I don’t even have an account with HSBC so I reckon this is just one of those payment scams trying to catch people out. I didn’t click the link obviously.
