We received the same text message earlier on today and haven't the foggiest who it's from. We're reluctant to call back or reply, as it could potentially be a premium rate number!

Received a text from this number claiming that I'm eligible to receive £3,750 for an accident I apparently had (what accident are they talking about?). One has to exercise caution as they urge you to text back 'stop' if you aren't interested; I suspect this is merely their tactic to confirm that this is an active phone number. I wouldn't be surprised if they then inundate me with even more messages and calls later on. Just a reminder: mobile providers often share our details with these sorts of companies.
