I just had a rather unsettling experience! I received a voicemail from someone posing as an HMRC representative, claiming there was a case of "tax evasion" under my name. They threatened to get an arrest warrant issued if I didn’t press 1 immediately. Definitely sounds like a dodgy criminal operation!

I received a phone call from someone masquerading as HM Customs and Revenue. They rang me up, yet had the audacity to ask who I was. Surely, if they were genuinely from HMRC, they should've known my name right off the bat. I'm convinced their goal was to swindle me out of money, so do keep your wits about you.
