Got a text asking when I’d be back home, a bit odd not knowing who it was!

I got a recorded call warning me that my national insurance number might’ve been hacked or something. Proper dodgy if you ask me.

I got a call from this number 07744933194 and it was some robo voice telling me I was being accused of tax fraud. It kept saying if I didn’t hit 1, they’d arrest me right then and there. Totally spam, don’t fall for it!

Got a call at 8:03 this morning, picked up but could only hear silence, no one spoke. Ended up hanging up.

This number, 07794934424, rang my home phone earlier today. Normally I just ignore calls in the daytime but this one kept going on and on. A woman with a foreign accent claimed she was from the British Foreign Office and said I’d won £2,500 from my PPI. I told her I already knew about my PPI and that she was a scammer before hanging up. I’ve blocked the number now so they can’t bother me again.

Honestly, I never wanted to know who was behind that call. The only reason I answered was so I could find the number on this site and then block it straight away. If anyone else is getting calls from this number, my tip is to only answer if it’s just so you can block them. Don’t bother otherwise!

Got a call from this number about six times around 11.15. When I tried ringing it back, I just got a dial tone then silence. Something fishy here for sure - feels like they cancelled the call or something dodgy. Now I’m bracing myself for a bill charge!

Got a call this morning around 6 past six from a number I didn’t know. The person on the other end spoke with an Asian accent and asked if they were speaking to me by name. Didn't sound right, so I just hung up. Since I had already got a scam call earlier today, I don’t bother answering unknown numbers anymore.

Got a call from this number, so I used call guardian to make sure they’re put on notice. Now it’s blocked on my end.

I got a call from someone with a pretty strong Asian accent, asking me for my full name. The connection was really poor, and he kept talking about some kind of refund and mentioned a sum around £2,500. Honestly, I couldn’t catch much because the line kept cutting out, so I told him to ring again later. Surprise, surprise, he never called back. Pretty clear to me that it was a scam. Just thought I’d share to help warn others.
