i got a call too, they had some old details of mine from years back, saying i could claim about £1900 in ppi. seemed like it was from india but the number looked uk based. i just told the caller off, said they were untouchable and so was their entire family. after that they never bothered me again.

I got a call from someone with an Indian accent saying I'd got £1800 PPI compensation coming my way. Then they started pushing an FCA policy, saying it would stop the bank from charging me over half in tax or something. Just to see what they'd do, I told them I was fine with the fees. Right after that, they just hung up on me. Honestly, watch out - it seems like they’re just wanting to sell you a policy so they can get your bank info and charge you more. Don't get tricked!
