This number called me like 26 times in a single day! Eventually, I answered just to see what they wanted. The bloke was trying to scam me for my personal details, so I fed him a load of rubbish instead. I managed to keep him chatting for a good 20 minutes. It was quite amusing actually. If they’re going to waste my time, I’m not fussed - at least it means they’ve got less time to trick someone else.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent who already seemed to know my name. He kept switching what organisation he was from - first CAB, then OFT, later Trading Standards, and finally claimed to be HMRC. Couldn't settle on one story. He said I owed a big debt that I had to sort out. I played along and said I owed HMRC 6.5 million. He suddenly went quiet then blurted out "6.5 million in your ass" before slamming the phone down when he realised I'd sussed him out.

I normally ignore calls from numbers I don't know, but today the sun was so bright I couldn’t make out who was calling. Some bloke with a super thick foreign accent asked if he was speaking to my old name. I just hung up straight away. Luckily, found this site and now I’m gonna block that number for good.

Got a call from someone offering debt management assistance, but it felt a bit dodgy. They claimed they could help clear debts by paying them off, which sounded too good to be true. They kept going on about UK laws and government programmes, but honestly it didn’t sit right with me. It sounded like he was calling from some call centre overseas, maybe India. The whole thing was pretty unclear and it didn’t feel legit at all. Now I’m a bit worried I might’ve accidentally given away some important info without even knowing.
