Got a call from someone claiming to be from my internet supplier. She said I'd filed a complaint and that they'd stop calling now. We'll wait and see if they actually do.

No one picked up when I rang, so I searched the number here and saw loads of comments saying it's linked to scam calls.

So I keep getting calls from this number, and the people on the other end sound Indian and claim they’re from BT. Every time I ask where they got my number, they just disconnect the call. I don’t really get what they’re trying to do. It’s so frustrating because the phone companies don’t seem interested in helping stop these nuisance calls. What can we even do about it?

Got a call from a woman with a foreign accent, but I couldn’t really make out what she was saying so I just ended the call. I only picked up because it looked like a mobile, and I’m waiting anxiously for a call since my grandson’s been rushed to hospital.

I just got a ring from some woman saying she was with BT, ringing from this number to ask about my internet. When I told her the call was dodgy and not allowed, she just cut me off. My number’s blocked and I’m signed up with the telephone preference service, so no idea how she got hold of it.

It's quite frustrating to find out that so many others have dealt with the same issues from this number. Honestly, I don't see the point in continually reporting these annoying calls when it doesn't seem like anything changes or gets done. At this stage, I just figure any random calls like this are probably some kind of scam.

Got a call from a woman with an accent claiming to be from BT, said there was something wrong with my internet. I told her I wasn’t a BT customer and then she just ended the call.

I've been getting loads of calls from people claiming there's a big problem with my internet and it'll be cut off soon. One bloke said he could fix it if I logged onto my laptop, but I told him I don't even own one. Then he reckoned I was on it last night, which I definitely wasn't. He called me a liar and warned my internet would be disconnected. I just said fine and hung up. Surprise, surprise, my internet's still working perfectly. These scammers need to be put to an end. I'm disabled and really don't need the stress from these dodgy calls.

Got a call from some bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT about an internet issue. Told him to jog on and slammed the phone down. Blocked the number straight away. Looks like a total scam - absolute muppet. This is the fifth time I’ve had one of these calls in just three days!

Today, this number 07794378162 got blocked three times on my BT Guardian phone!! Honestly, the Telephone Preference Service is a waste of time!! Dont bother signing up!! I got myself a call blocker phone and honestly, they’re brilliant, my phone doesn’t even ring now!! It costs about £2.50 a month just for caller ID, nothing fancy!! I’m telling everyone to get one of these, they’re around £60 or a bit more but absolutely worth it! No more scam calls bothering me!! If loads of people had one of these phones it would seriously put an end to these nasty scam calls!!!

Got a call earlier from someone saying they were BT tech, saying my internet might get cut off. They wanted my name so I told them William Thompson. When I asked for their number, they got pretty grumpy and ended up giving me my own number back. Pretty sure it was a dodgy scam.

Got a call from some bloke called Jack, saying he was with BT's tech support. He said there was a problem with my internet and asked me to turn on my PC so he could 'fix' it remotely. I asked him for BT's phone number to check, but he just dropped the call. Pretty clear it was a scam, especially since I don’t even have BT broadband!

So my home phone rang and some guy with a funny accent said he was calling from BT. I couldn’t help but chuckle and said, “Yeah right, like I’m falling for that!” Then he just ended the call.

Today at around 4pm, a woman with an Asian accent rang me on my home phone saying she was from BT Openreach. I told her I wasn't interested and asked her to leave me alone, then she just hung up on me! Sounds like a total scam, watch out folks!
