This number called me a couple of times today. The first call was dead silent, no one spoke. When it rang again, I got a recorded message with a weird American accent claiming my internet service from TalkTalk was about to be cut off. The options were to press 1 to call them back or 2 to disconnect. I just went with option three - I ended the call right there!

They kept ringing but never left a message when I picked up. What’s the point?

got a voicemail from "talktalk" warning that my internet would be cut off if i didn't ring back. sounded a bit dodgy to me.

this number called me claiming to be from the bt tech team saying there was some interference with my internet connection. i told them i hadn’t noticed any issues and said i'd call bt myself to check. when i did ring bt, they confirmed it was all a scam like i suspected from the start.
