This morning, around 9:25am on 3/6/24, I got a call from this number claiming there was an issue with my internet. Since everything was working fine, I let them know and then ended the call. It felt pretty clear to me they were attempting to trick me into giving access to my computer. When I picked up, there was a noticeable pause before the caller spoke, and they sounded like they had an accent from overseas. I get a few calls every week around the same time, all supposedly about internet problems. Being retired, I guess they think I’m an easy mark.
