Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming she needed to connect to my computer. She mentioned she’d ring back the following day.

got a call from this number yesterday, bloke had an indian accent and said he was calling from bt. he mentioned that our internet speed was going to get better soon because bt engineers were fixing the exchange nearby. since our broadband's been dodgy for ages, i didn’t think twice, but then he wanted me to sign into my pc. that’s when i ended the call right away.

I got a call from a woman claiming she was with BT Openreach, telling me they’re doing some kind of internet upgrade near us. She asked me to get on my computer and look at a graph to confirm our coverage was right. It didn’t feel right, so I told her I wasn’t comfortable and ended the call.
