Someone rang me up claiming I was entitled to some money. I asked whether they worked for an independent firm or a third party and what kind of services they offer. Then I requested their company registration number. Just after that, they abruptly ended the call.

This sounds like one of those credit card scams to me. They said there was suspicious activity and that £900 was spent abroad, then asked me to press 1. Definitely feels dodgy!
