Scam alert: Got a robo call saying there was a £900 charge on my Visa and to press 1 if I wanted to cancel it. I played along and hit 1. Then a person came on, knowing my last name and that I live in Manchester! He claimed the charge was from Amazon and asked me to confirm what device I usually buy stuff from there. Next, he wanted to send me a link to that device and for me to accept it while logged on. I told him that sounded dodgy and not safe, then he just hung up. I never got to say I don’t even have a Visa card.
