I got called by this number but no one said a word, felt like they were just checking if someone would pick up. Honestly, just block it or delete it cause it’s pointless.

Didn't answer the first call, then a couple minutes later, they rang again but showed as "no caller ID" on my phone. I ignored it once more. Then about 15 minutes later, a call came through from the US with a +1 44 number - 7793016599. Turns out it was the exact same number. Probably some sort of scam or maybe related to a car accident or something?

Had no clue about it till I looked it up here. Seems like just another “we’ve heard you were in a car crash” type of call - which is mad cos I hardly ever drive! I don’t pick up calls unless I know the number or I’m waiting for someone. If it’s something urgent, they’ll leave a message. No message usually means it’s dodgy or just junk.

Got a call from a blocked number with a recorded message about maybe making a claim for an accident. Didn’t catch any name. Just ended up blocking the number to stop getting more annoying calls!

total scam! the best way ive found to get them to quit is just pick up the phone and dont say a word. if it’s a real person they usually move on cause they want a response. a robo call might ring a couple more times but after you keep doing this, they usually give up. ever since ive tried this trick the number of calls has gone way down.
