I know who these people are, they call from India and they're running a complete con, pretending to offer help with debt solutions and consolidation. the owner is based in the UK, not sure of the name but this is his official company website [#][#]debtplandirect[###] . really hope someone tracks this bloke down and they face some proper consequences for harrassing people.

He called me by my name right away. When I asked who it was, he said money tree solutions. I calmly told him to remove me from their list. He flat out refused and when I insisted, he went on to call me a f##### idiot. I asked for his name and he just made one up (luckily, my phone has true caller ID so I actually caught his real name). Then when I asked which company he was really from, he said some nonsense like 'let's get busy tonight.' Proper rude and annoying bloke.

Then he started rambling loads of nonsense to try and pressure me. I just told him off, shouted something like 'Bugger off with your nonsense, prat!' and ended the call. I got a call from this number the other day. The guy on the line had a sort of Indian accent, I think? When I asked where he was calling from, he was mumbling and I couldn't catch it, even after asking a few times. He did know my name though, which was a bit unsettling. I keep getting calls from this number, probably a dozen times now. Twice I actually picked up, both times there was a man, and the second time a woman as well. They both had a strong Indian accent, and like others have said, kept going on about some debts I supposedly owe. I told them straight away I’ve only been in the UK under a year, so I don’t have any debts to pay. She still tried to keep me on the phone, wanting me to answer "some questions". On the 10th of July, got a call from some Indian bloke going on about debts and credit scores. I told him I wasn’t interested and just hung up. They rang again today but I missed it luckily. Have since blocked the number on my phone. The TPS is absolutely useless. Been signed up with them for years on both my landline and mobile, yet I still get loads of these annoying calls. From what I've heard, they hardly do anything - they just give a warning to the company if you report them. If the caller ID is dodgy or hidden like this one, they’re powerless. Honestly, we need to band together and push our MPs to take proper action. Might even try organising an online petition to get the ball rolling!

This number has called me three times already. The first time I asked where they got my contact details and they claimed it was my bank. When they rang again the next day, I told them same as before, I wasn’t interested. Just now, they called once more saying I’ve got loads of unpaid debts hurting my credit score. Thing is, I’m actually all clear financially, no debts at all. When I looked up Money Tree Solutions online, turns out the company was dissolved back in 2004 and last accounts were filed in 2009. Then I found some guy on LinkedIn, a sole trader, who says he started MTS in 2011. This Paul bloke rang me twice today using two different names. When I pointed out he'd called twice from the same number, he just denied it (which obviously isn’t true, I checked my call log) and then just hung up on me. Quite odd!

Got a call today from 0779 2932285, same sort of thing others have mentioned. The bloke said my bank had passed on my info about some debt I supposedly owe. He actually knew my name, which really ticks me off cause it means my details have been sold somewhere. I reckon it links back to a survey I started ages ago on that GMTV site but never finished or submitted. Since then, I've been bombarded with like 40 calls and texts like this - says a lot about GMTV really. The guy claimed he was with “Monetary Solutions”. I asked him where exactly they were located and for their company’s full address, and just as I pressed, he hung up. Rang the number back but got a message saying the number was wrong - so definitely a dodgy number. Proper scam if you ask me. The caller had an Indian accent and said he was from Birmingham. some bloke with an indian accent rang me saying ive got some debt issues and that his manager sent him to call me and sort it out. i asked him what gave him the right to know about my stuff and who gave him that info. he tried to go on about helping me but i told him to mind his own business and asked why hes even calling me. then he just hung up!

It was the same person again, speaking with a thick accent. He said he had some personal info about me but wouldn’t say what it was or where he got it from. When I asked for the company he represented, he just mumbled something. Then when I asked for a landline to call back on, he just hung up. Definitely sketchy and super unprofessional, felt like a total scam to me.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent saying I owed money and that his boss sent him to sort it out. I asked him what it had to do with him and where he got my details from. He tried to keep chatting, saying he wanted to help. I told him it wasn’t his concern and asked why he was calling me. Then he just hung up! The number was hidden.

Saw a missed call from 07792 932285 and gave them a ring back, but it just said "wrong number" when I did. Looked it up afterwards and ended up on this site. Definitely adding that number to my block list now haha.

Got a call from some loan agency looking for a Nina, I told them clearly they had the wrong person but they just kept insisting. The bloke reckoned he was sure I was Nina, but I kept saying no and they still wouldnt back off. Proper annoying!

Got a call from some guy with a heavy foreign accent, real rude as well. He kept asking if I was transgender, saying I was a bloke the last time he talked to me. I've never even had a word with this call centre before. Caller ID showed 07792932285.

I got a call from some bloke called James who was going on about me owing money. I asked him how he even got hold of my account details, but he just said I was upset because of the debt. When I pressed him for answers, he dodged the question. So, I asked for his full name, the name of his manager, and told him I was reporting him for accessing my info without permission. Then, he just hung up on me. Proper annoying! He kept implying I’m in debt and somehow knows my credit score. First off, I’m not in debt at all, and second, even if I was, that’s none of his business. When I said I wasn’t in debt, he should have just ended the call. It’s disgusting how they try to drum up business like this! The number was 07792932285.

A guy with a thick accent rang, asking for me by name, claiming to be from Money Tree Solutions, some debt management firm. I asked where he got my number from and he just said "from another source". I told him not to call me again since I'm on the telephone preference service, then he just hung up. I've never owed money to anyone so thought it was a scam, but what really worries me is how he knew both my name and number.

At first, I just thought it was some annoying noise or something, but then this bloke kept going on for a couple hours and I couldn’t catch a single word of what he was saying. Eventually he said I owed him some money. I kept asking which company he was from, but not a single bit of it made sense. Got really fed up and told him, “Could you please just explain yourself properly?” and then he just said, “No worries, bye.” I hadn’t slept for three nights straight and was so frustrated, I tried calling back but it just said, “Number not recognised.” Sorry for moaning, but seriously, block this number ASAP even if it’s not in your contacts. I swear, this number has me pulling my hair out! Early this morning I got a call from a bloke with a thick Indian accent who was really rude. When I told him to take me off their list, he just started swearing at me. I’m on the TPS register, so what more can I do? Yeah, same as loads of people here - the bloke had a thick Indian accent, which I’m okay with usually, but this time it was so hard to catch more than a few words. Managed to pick up ‘debt management’ though! Weirdly, I’ve also been getting a bunch of dodgy emails about debt management recently… Makes me wonder what site I gave my details to lately coz obviously they’ve passed my info round to these muppets. Caller said something about debt management? Sounds fishy.

Just like loads of others have said before, got a man with a thick accent ringing up saying my credit score was going down because of some unpaid debt. I told him I didn’t owe anything and he started listing different kinds of debts. I told him if he’d actually looked me up properly he’d see I’m clear. Got a call from 07792932285 and the bloke was really rude when i asked who he was and where he got my number from. He ended up swearing at me and just hung up. This kind of behaviour is awful, they should be taken to court to put a stop to these annoying calls.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent, seemed pretty dodgy. They kept going on about some supposed "unsettled debt" which honestly felt like a scare tactic to make people cough up money. Sounds like this person or group is trying to con folks out of cash by playing on their fears. Definitely wouldn’t trust ‘em!

Said I owed some bad debt that was messing up my credit score. I told him I didn’t owe anything and got pretty annoyed, then he just cut me off. Got a call from this number with an accent that sounded Indian or something similar. The bloke knew my first name and told me I had debts that were messing up my credit score, asking if I was aware of it. I just told him I don't owe anything and my credit’s all good, then I ended the call straight away. Have blocked the number now. Caller said his name was Paul from Money Tree or something like that.

Got repeated calls from this number, sounded like the caller had an Indian accent. Told them to stop calling once, but they ignored it and rang me a couple more times without saying a word. I’ve reported it to OFCOM, IOC, and Action Fraud now. Fingers crossed they catch this nuisance quickly. - caller: Unknown

I’m getting tons of these dodgy calls too, same as many of you. I’m signed up to TPS but these creeps still manage to get through. When I asked who they were, they flat out refused to tell me. I rang TPS to complain, but since I couldn’t provide the company name, they said they couldn’t help. So I threatened to involve my MP, and suddenly they were quick to offer me a special complaint form. I also reached out to the Information Commissioner’s Office, but they said there’s nothing they could do. Maybe the best bet is to report the number to your mobile provider and ask them to block it - at least that might cause the caller some hassle. Another idea is to report it to Watchdog on the BBC; that would probably give the scammers a real headache.

Surely this has got to be a scam. I rang back on 1471 to find out who had been calling and the message said “The number you have dialled is not recognised. Please verify and try again”. That wouldn’t happen with a legitimate caller, would it? Best to ignore them altogether. Maybe if no one picked up their calls from them, they’d take the hint. - caller: Unknown

Got a random call from someone, didn’t ask for it. When I told them to take my number off their list, they tried to argue, saying they wanted to have a chat. If I was in the mood for a chat, I’d have either called them first or picked up the phone and spoke to a mate! The caller was an Asian guy talking about some debts and apparently the manager had checked out my details! Such a weird experience.

Got a call from 07792932285 today from some bloke saying I owe money and that he could clear off £60,000 of my debts so I'd be sorted by this year. Problem is, I don't even owe anything! I just ended up blocking the number. Caller sounded like an Asian guy.

Got a call from 07792932285 on the 2nd of June while I was at work. The guy on the line was Asian and when I asked where he represented, he said something about Money Tree. I told him firmly to remove me from his list and never ring me again. Even though I’m registered with the TPS, since then I’ve been flooded with texts from various loan and debt firms. Just cleared out 15 messages, all from different mobile numbers. It’s driving me mad. TPS doesn’t seem to stop these nuisance calls at all. Caller from 07792932285 - money tree.
