Got a call pretending to be from PayPal, trying to get all my card details and even my driving license info. I stupidly gave some info before realising it was a scam. Ended up blocking their number straight away. Had to get an IT expert to check my PC for any issues. In the end I had to shred my payment cards and wait for new ones to arrive. Proper nasty lot, very pushy and rude too.

I just got a call from this number. Yesterday we got caught out by a scam where someone pretended there was a virus on our PC. They said they were from Microsoft and wanted money to fix it, but we didn’t give them anything. Now today, this number called us saying they'd already taken money yesterday and were offering a refund. When I asked how they could take any cash without our permission or info, they just hung up on me.
