This bloke was proper rude and kept pushing me to agree to something, but I kept asking what he was after. Then he just hung up on me. Now he's been calling over and over, but putting the phone down as soon as I pick up.

Got a call from some bloke with an Asian accent saying he was from my benefits, again! I only picked up cause I thought it might be about my boy who's away at a sports camp. When I told him I wasn't interested, he started yelling in his own language, getting all aggressive. Total scam, I've told them to quit ringing me.

I'm a woman and it really annoys me when a stranger phones up asking for 'the bloke of the house'. I usually say, 'what if there isn’t one here?' Then they quickly try to get me to do a survey, all rushed. I just say no straight away. They’ve messed up their chance with me and end up hanging up on me without saying anything else.

Got a call from an Asian guy asking if I was the 'man of the house'. When I asked him twice what it was regarding, he just cut the call. Bit odd really.

I picked up and some bloke said he was from a verification company, but I can’t remember his name. I asked, “Verification for what exactly?” and then they just hung up on me. Definitely a spam call, so I blocked the number! Don’t bother answering it.
