I received an automated message saying there was a £600 hold on one of my card transactions and to hit 1 to talk to someone. When I pressed 1, a woman answered but didn’t know my name or which card was supposedly involved. It felt dodgy straight away, especially since the call was from a mobile number. As soon as I started asking her questions, the call was abruptly ended. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.
