Got a call from a robotic voice pretending to be Amazon saying they charged me £750 after I supposedly made a purchase. I quickly ended the call, then double-checked both my Amazon account and my bank - luckily everything was normal.

This number rang me a while ago, and when I picked up, an automated message said something about my NI number being taken away, my bank account getting frozen, and an officer coming to arrest me. I pressed 2 to speak to someone. A bloke claiming to be an officer answered, so I asked for his name and where he was calling from, but he just hung up straight away. Total scam!

Every time I pick up, they hang up right away and when I try ringing back, the call just won’t connect.
