Got a very similar call today from 07709 857265 claiming to be my bank’s fraud department. They said there were two dodgy transactions: £199 to Amazon and another one, £899, to some overseas account. I was told to press 1 to authorise or press 2 to chat with their security people. I just ended the call - real banks don’t ring you from random mobiles and they never say which bank they’re from anyway. Plus, my actual bank doesn’t even have my mobile number on file!
