I didn’t get the company’s name, but the call said it was about blocking a number on my landline. When I asked them to say the name again, the person just ended the call. It’s beyond frustrating-surely, there’s a way to clamp down on these operations, yet it seems someone’s pocketing the profits. Got a call from some bloke overseas pretending it was about my call blocking VIN!!! Began to ask him what the heck he was after and then he just hung up. Strange one.

Got this voicemail from 07790 994982 today. They said there were two charges on my card: one for £300 supposedly from Amazon, and another for £1,100 on some international money transfer site. They claimed these payments looked dodgy and that I never used these services before. Then they told me to press 1 to cancel the transactions or 2 to talk to their support team. Honestly, sounds like a total scam to me!

So this morning, around 9:30, I got a call from someone pretending to be my "UK phone provider" - which was funny because I was actually on the phone to BT at the time, dealing with one of their awful email updates! Obviously a scam, so I’ve blocked the number. Then later on, I got another ring from the same person, this time from a number starting with 00 433 77033 0810, which looked like it was from somewhere in Europe. She opened with exactly the same spiel. I told them nicely to stop calling me. Both numbers are now blocked.

Got a call pretending to be from the bank's fraud team about some card charges, one said it was from Amazon and the other was an international payment - total scam!

Some bloke rang me saying he was from Microsoft, which I wasn't so sure about and asked him straight up. He admitted it was him. I cut the conversation short, but he called back about 30 seconds later. I just ignored it the second time.

I got a recorded call saying there were suspicious attempts to withdraw money from my account. The big clue it was dodgy? They said "Message from your bank," like they thought everyone’s with the same bank. Definitely avoid stuff like this!

Got a robot call with rubbish voice recognition and bad grammar. It said there were two charges on my credit card, one for £700 and another for £900, and if I wanted to cancel them I should press 1. Totally a scam, no question about it.

Got a recorded message saying there were two dodgy transactions on my bank card and to hit some numbers to talk to a fraud specialist. Didn’t bother answering properly since it’s clearly a scam. They’ve called me twice in the last couple of weeks. There’s another number doing the same thing with the exact same message: 01912641928. Worth keeping an eye out.

Got a call from 07790994982, with someone telling me to press 1 to stop two payments on my Visa for £700 and £900. Didn’t trust it, so I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

Got a robo call about some charges on my bank account. They said one was for Amazon and the other was for some international transfer. Clearly a scam because no real bank would ring you about that stuff. Best to just ignore and avoid these calls altogether.

Definitely a scam. Got a voicemail claiming to be from my bank’s fraud team saying there were two dodgy transactions flagged - one around £300 and another over £1000 to an overseas account. Clearly a con as my bank doesn’t even have my landline, plus they wouldn’t ring me using a mobile and an automated message like that. They actually called my unlisted private number that’s on the TPS list. Total rubbish.

It’s evident this is a scam. I’m baffled as to why it’s still up and running! I received a message claiming that my bank account was involved in a £1,100 transfer to an overseas recipient. They urged me to press 1 for more info, but there were no specifics like the name of my bank, my account details, or even who they supposedly transferred the funds to. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Just got another one, almost identical to the call I mentioned a couple minutes ago from 01513290727. It’s one of those scam calls with a robot woman’s voice pretending to be from the bank’s fraud team. She kept talking about weird purchases on Amazon and some big overseas payment earlier today. I got a call from this number pretending to be from my bank, saying there was a charge over £1,000 on my card at Amazon and to press 1 to stop the payment. It sounded dodgy since they never said which bank they were from and the voice was robotic and off. I just cut the call straight away and came here to check. Pretty clear it’s a scam trying to steal bank info!
