I just wanted to update on that number I mentioned before. I rang BT/EE and asked them about it, and they told me it was a scam call. They couldn’t really help to block it or anything, but said I did the right thing by hanging up straight away.

Some bloke ringin up said he was from BT and could sort me landline bill cheaper. I got wary straight away cos my line is with EE and they only ever text or email me, never ring. I told him I was tied up and just ended the call. The guy sounded like he was overseas or summat. Could be legit but honestly, never had a call from either BT or EE before.
