12 daysGot a call supposedly from "bank security" saying there were unauthorised charges on my Amazon and Zoom accounts. They told me to press 1 to approve the payments or 2 to talk to a security officer. I’d heard about these scams before but was a bit bored, so I pressed 2. An Indian woman picked up, with typical call centre noise in the background. I asked her which bank she worked for, and she said Visa. I asked again, just to be sure, and she said Visa once more.
