Got a phone call from a bloke with an Asian accent saying he was from BT and Virgin Media, telling me someone was using my internet without permission. He said he’d send me a text with a code, which, of course, never came through - actually, he sent loads but I ignored them. Then he claimed he’d also emailed me from BT. When he asked me to confirm the email, I told him no way, I wasn’t convinced it was legit. The call went on for about five minutes before he started calling me rude names - something like “mo..er f..er” - and then he just hung up on me. Ridiculous experience!
