We've had a similar experience with these characters. They posed as close mates or even sisters of our friends, going so far as to ask my brother for contact numbers of our pals. Afterwards, they proceeded to send out a message to all of us, fishing for assistance and inquiring if we were tied up. It's the identical number, and it’s clearly a money-making con. Quite frankly, it’s not the most inventive scam around-they seem to think that people don’t converse with their friends or family. Just a heads up for everyone to stay alert!

They pretended to be my closest mate, saying they’d shattered their legs in a couple of places and requested that I send over all my contact numbers because they were feeling a bit dull in the hospital. To top it off, they wanted me to grab them some phone credits!
