Got a recorded call from this number saying it was some fraud team checking on a £600 charge on my debit card overseas. Then it told me to press 1 or 2 for options or whatever. I started off by singing down the phone (terribly, as I’m no singer) and just hung up. After that, I rang the speaking clock, not sure if it helps but someone said it might clear the line. Seemed 100% like a scam to me since anyone in the house could’ve answered, so how did they even know my card details? Could’ve been the cat for all they knew! The voice was a posh sounding woman giving the recorded message.
