On Monday morning I got a call from this scammer, then they went on and sent me messages afterwards. Before that, I’d already been bombarded with texts pretending to be my bank, saying I’ve gotta activate notifications on my account. How did I spot it was dodgy? Simple, I never pick up calls from numbers I don’t know. Plus, if it really mattered, the bank would send a letter right through my letterbox, not this nonsense. Just take your time with these things - rushing never does anyone any favours. Stay safe all.
