Got a call from someone claiming my National Insurance had been "breached" near the Welsh border. They told me to press 1 to avoid trouble. I didn’t do anything and the call just ended abruptly. To me, if there was a real problem with my NI number, official government folks would reach out, not some random caller. Seemed like a total scam to me.
