On the 3rd of April in 2015, I received a call from an individual who knew my name. I inquired about the company he was employed by. He claimed that I owed money on behalf of someone else. When I confronted him about this, he abruptly ended the conversation by hanging up.

A courteous man called, inquiring about some outstanding debts that I owed. I politely requested him to send me a letter detailing the matter he wished to discuss. Perplexed, he asked the reason for this request. Upon hearing this, my husband took over the conversation, bid him farewell, and promptly ended the call.

To verify their identity, I requested their full name, rank, ID number, and associated police station. Rather than provide the information, the person became verbally abusive and abruptly hung up. How unprofessional. As a result, I will be filing a report regarding this number for impersonating a police officer.
