Got a text asking what I was doing on Friday, so I replied asking who it was. Haven't heard back in like 9 hours. Bit odd, really.

I got the classic scammer routine - first a message asking what I was up to on Friday, then a couple hours later I get another text from a different number saying “oops, wrong number earlier.” Pretty sure they’re trying to make you text back some premium rate number or something. Best thing to do is just block them straight away and don’t respond at all!

I got a text from this number claiming to be from Google, which was odd since it’s an EE number. When I tried calling back, it just went straight to the EE voicemail. Normally, Google texts come through with their usual 'Google' sender ID. Still, the code they sent me actually worked, so I think it was legit. Cheers, lconnor 2?
