I got a call that said it was from Amazon, telling me someone had made a purchase on my account without my approval. They asked me to press #1 if I hadn’t ordered anything. When I pressed, this person started asking for my account details, which made me suspicious that it was a scam. I stopped the call straight away, even though they warned me that if the payment went through, I wouldn't get my money back - it was over £700 they said! I decided to ring my bank instead. Thankfully, no purchase had gone through and everything was fine.
