I picked up the phone and there was this robotic bloke saying there were two suspicious charges on my card - one from Amazon for £199 and another £899 from some international bank. He didn’t say which bank specifically. Then he told me to press 1 if I recognised the charges or press 2 to talk to someone. I just hung up right there. After that, I checked my accounts just to be sure, but everything seemed normal. Thought I’d share in case it helps anyone else.
