I got a call from someone pretending to be me, saying they owned a magazine and asking about ads in my publication. It’s totally a scam! It’s just me running my business, so these people have bad intentions for sure. Someone should do something about this. Lou

sounds like this was a work phone, not someone's private number. they called me and were really nice. they even sent me an email to confirm the offer, so it seems legit to me.

this bloke said he worked for the local magazine, was pushing these cheap website deals. just google gerard 'john' brogan and see for yourself. best to stay clear of him.

Some bloke rang up sayin he was from a magazine where I supposedly have an ad, which wasn’t true at all. When I asked him who he was, he just hung up on me!

some bloke called john rang saying he's with easyweb and that he’s from the local mag, mentioned seeing my advert. he claimed he had cash from the council to build websites cheap. turns out gerard or john brogan ain't linked to any of this. best google gerard brogan yourself and be careful of this dodgy scam.
