I got this weird automated call from somebody saying they were from "Bank Security." They claimed there had been some dodgy, big card transactions that had supposedly been "blocked." They asked me to press "1" if I wanted to confirm the payments or "2" to talk to a security advisor. On my landline, the number showed up as 00447789906589. But when I checked my router’s call logs later, the number was actually saved as 012027789906589. Kinda looks like they faked the number to make it seem like a local call or something? Pretty suspicious if you ask me.
