Got a call claiming to be from Amazon, saying I’d made a purchase worth over £700 and asking if I wanted to confirm it. I said no, and they told me to check my Amazon account. When I said I’d ask someone else to help, they warned me not to because it was 'private'. Later my husband looked on my Amazon account and there was no sign of any order like that. This felt just like the calls I get from 447770978671 and sounded like the same voice. Amazon had no record of my number linked to anything.
