Seems like a total scam to me. I got a message saying that the DWP hasn't got my application for the Winter Heating Allowance 2024-2025 yet. They said I have until 26th Feb 2025 to apply or I won’t get the £300 payment. The message urged me to use a link (which I didn’t bother clicking) to apply quickly. Feels dodgy, so I wouldn’t trust it.
