This number rang me on my phone earlier, with a recorded voice claiming to be Amazon. They said they were taking £79 today for renewing my Amazon Prime. The message told me to press 1 to talk to an Amazon representative. Since I’ve never had Prime, I didn’t press anything and just hung up. Later, I logged into my Amazon account to double-check and even reported the call to them. I highly doubt this was a genuine Amazon number.
