This person claimed to be from the benefits department for life insurance. When I questioned which life insurance they meant, they just said ‘your life insurance’. I asked who it was with, and they started rattling off names of all the major insurers. I told them I’m on the TPS, and they replied it wasn’t a sales call. I pointed out it sounded like a cold call, and the caller insisted they were ringing from my insurer. They wouldn’t give any company info and got annoyed when I mentioned reporting them to the info commissioner. Very impolite. I’ve blocked the number now.
