Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from Sky, saying my insurance had lapsed and pitching me a “great deal”. I told him I don’t even have a telly, but then he said it covered all electrical stuff in the home. When I mentioned my car was electric, apparently that was part of the package too. All that for just 60 quid a year... honestly, one of the more amusing scams I’ve come across!

Got a call on my phone from someone claiming to be HMRC, telling me I had to press 1 or I'd be arrested soon. The number they used was 07788421944. It was around 10:53 in the morning. I didn't bother pressing anything, just ended the call straight away. Seems pretty risky to me!
