Got a call from someone claiming to be with Sky Broadband. They said there was some maintenance going on and my internet might cut out for a few hours. Then they told me to go online and sort it out so it wouldn’t happen. Sounded dodgy to me.

Got a call from the number 07788412785, bloke with an Indian accent saying he was ringing on behalf of British Telecom. He claimed some engineers were fixing the line and needed to check my internet speed right away. I told him I wasn’t a BT customer, but he brushed it off, insisted on testing my speed ASAP. When I joked about giving him my laptop info, he just kept saying it was really important to check the speed. I said I’d just call BT myself later, then he suddenly hung up.

Got a call from 07788412785, some Indian guy saying people were using my internet router or something. I don't know him at all, sounds dodgy to me. I just said I didn't get what he was saying and hung up. Definitely a scam, so I've blocked the number now.
