I received the same message, just from a different website this time. It mentioned something about texting 'stop' if I wanted to opt out of their promotional messages.

I've been receiving texts on my mobile claiming to be from betfair.com, urging me to follow a link. It's clearly a scammer trying to pull a fast one from the UK. It's a wise move to never click on links sent by unfamiliar numbers, as it could lead to your phone being compromised - think hacking your camera and microphone. I’ve noticed that often it's dodgy Romanian operators behind these schemes. If you're thinking about applying for a swift loan online in the UK, be cautious! Offers seem tempting-often costing less than a penny-but they can easily fall into the hands of crooks from anywhere in the world. UK phone numbers are particularly prized by these scam artists. Should you find yourself inundated with texts after applying for a loan, the best bet is to ignore them; they will eventually fade away. However, once the junk mail settles, if you’re unlucky, you might start receiving messages from hackers, again directing you to click on dubious links that claim to be from legitimate sources. This caution extends to emails as well. If you’ve unwittingly clicked on suspicious links, it’s highly advisable to restore your phone to its factory settings. And don’t forget to run an antivirus scan on your computer to be on the safe side. It's high time the UK government took decisive steps to clamp down on this nonsense!

Received a dodgy message regarding loans from instant-cashuk.com. I've flagged it to Three already. Since it’s a Vodafone number, I might just have to alert them as well.
