WARNING - SCAM ALERT! Got a call late at night from someone named Sophie who said she was with a firm called 'Maintenance Services'. She said there was an emergency plumbing job needed nearby. Since I hadn’t heard of this company before, I decided to search the number first - and turns out it’s been flagged as a scam multiple times. Worried for the person the call was about, I popped over to their house to make sure they weren’t being ripped off. Unfortunately, they’d already forked out £480 for what was just a tiny radiator valve leak! £480 for a simple plumbing fix? Ridiculous! Stay well clear of these people!

Absolutely ridiculous. Complete rip off. Proper disgrace. I got charged over 400 for emergency plumbing and in the end they didn't even do the plumbing job. So unfair.

Got a call from someone named Sophie Barnes, claiming she works with Perfect Plumbing and also with Surrey and London Emergency Plumber. She took £400 from me, but if they send out an engineer, they never get paid. I’ve tried ringing and emailing her loads but she just ignores me. I’d suggest telling the police and trading standards about this. Also noticed James Jones and Best Cleaners might be linked to the same scam.

Dodgy people ringing up, expecting you to pay for stuff they never actually sort out. Don’t fall for it and definitely don’t pay!

Got a call from a woman supposed to be running a business, asking me to do some call outs for her. After I sent all the invoices, she just started ignoring my calls and texts. The address and contact info she gave were totally made up. Would steer clear of this number for sure. Not sure if it has any connection to Best Cleaners Surrey, as that’s the name that pops up when you Google it.
