Got a call from this dodgy bloke who quickly said his name, but as soon as I gave mine he hung up straight away. When I tried ringing back, it turned out the number wasn't valid. Proper suspicious!

Got a missed call from this number and when I rang back, it said the number wasn’t valid. I only just got this phone and number, no one else has used it before, so I reckon it’s probably just some random call or maybe they had details from whoever had the number before me.

Got a call from someone who was really disrespectful, calling me by a totally wrong name and accusing me of owing money. When I asked them to take my number off their list, they just insulted me and ended the call. Proper bad experience.

Had some muppet on the phone claiming he could sort out debts I don’t even have. I just told him to remove my details and then ended the call. It seriously baffles me how these lot are still free to bother folks like this.

He sounded like he was calling from a car, had a bit of an accent I couldn’t place. He asked for me using my maiden name, which I've only just started using on Facebook again, but officially everything’s still in my married name. Claimed to be from some credit investigation agency. Since I’m certain I don’t owe any money and my credit’s clean, I told him to stop bothering me and erase my info. Then I ended the call.

This number called me claiming to be from a debt and credit agency. The background noise sounded like a call centre and the person had a foreign accent. They said they heard I’m having trouble paying bills because of Covid and offered to pay off all my debts. They asked how much I owed, suggesting 5 or 6 grand. I told them I don’t owe anything and asked where they got my info. They mentioned the FCA and Citizens Advice. I said fine, I’m hanging up now. They weren’t happy about that.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the debt investigation team, but they couldn’t even tell me my name. When he called back again, I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with the Citizen's Advice Bureau. They told me I owed money on multiple loans and offered to help sort out the repayments. I don’t have any loans or debts at all, so when I told them that, they just ended the call straight away.

They claimed to be from citizens advice and said they called because of a debt. I told them I'd already spoken to someone from there yesterday. They couldn't say which company the debt was with, even though they kept saying it must be on their records. When I pressed for details, they got all confident and a bit cheeky 😂
