Sounds like it's probably that 'Eco Solutions' lot mentioned in the comments. They've apparently switched names about five times in five years, which honestly just seems a bit dodgy. If they ring me again, I'm definitely going to lodge a complaint with the telephone preference service.

Got a call from some bloke talking rubbish about renewable energy stuff, said it was to assist people around 45 to 75 years old. It was all just nonsense and sounded pretty dodgy to me. I'd bet it's a scam.

some guy called saying he's near lockerbie and wanted to pop over to check my house for solar panels, says it's for folks aged 45-75 to help with the rising electric bills, which apparently are going up again in october. i told him today’s no good, so he said he'd try again next week.

Got a call from some bloke with a Scottish accent claiming he was with eco solutions, pushing solar panels because energy costs are going up. Proper annoying, as he just wouldn’t stop yapping and didn’t pay any attention when I tried to say something.
