Got a call that seemed to be from the National Crime Agency but it was a fake. The recorded voice warned me my National Insurance number was gonna be frozen due to some dodgy activity. They told me to hit 1 if I wanted to talk to an officer. I didn’t do it and just blocked the number straight away. Seems like they’re trying to trick you into giving out your NI number so they can use it for something dodgy.
