Got a call claiming someone was trying to log into my Amazon account to buy something for £518. The person asked if it was me and said they’d send a code via text. When the text came, they told me to read the code out so they could "verify" my phone number. I didn’t give it to them, and they insisted I had to share the code or they couldn’t cancel the purchase. I said nope and hung up straight away.
