Got a call from 07786249664 earlier claiming we hadn’t paid for advertising in a school magazine. We’ve never heard of such a thing. They threatened that bailiffs would show up within 15 minutes with a court order. That was over an hour and a half ago, and no one’s come. We’ve already reported it to the police and Action Fraud, and they confirmed it’s a scam. Same story as others have mentioned here.

Just a heads up, they’re now using a different mobile number: 07584 721545. I’ve reported both numbers to the police through the online fraud reporting site: https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/report_fraud. Fingers crossed the police can use the info to trace or pin down these crooks. The site’s aware of this scam already, with 59 reports so far. Had another call today, and even though it’s clearly a scam, it’s still pretty worrying. These people really should be put behind bars!

Got a call from a bloke named Andrew Moss, who claimed he was ringing from a solicitor’s office in Northampton. Ended the call pretty quick, within 10 seconds or so.

Just got a phone call from someone named Andrew Moss. He sounded really convincing and nearly had me fooled. But here I am, still waiting for the bailiff to show up, even though he said he’d be here in ten minutes.

Just like others have said, we had a call that felt the same. The guy claimed there was a writ out for us and some bailiffs were coming over, we needed to pay £5k or a CCJ would be put on us. Can you believe it? This is the second time we’ve been targeted by this sort of scam. Proper nasty people!

This guy who calls himself Andrew Moss is a total scammer. He claims he's got some high court writ and CE against me, which is completely made up. Then he threatened he’d come over to get the money. I didn’t stay quiet though and reported him to the police.

I’ve flagged this number with the Police Fraud Action Team, and they’re already in the loop. It’s a complete scam! The chap on the line introduced himself as Andrew Moss, claiming to be affiliated with Marston Debt Recovery, insisting he’s a high court enforcement officer. He was pressuring me to transfer money to prevent some supposed bailiffs from descending upon me. It’s utterly ridiculous-I've been twiddling my thumbs for two days waiting for these bailiffs to show up, and surprise, surprise, they’re nowhere to be seen (chuckling).
